We recently buffed tank threat significantly and suggested that we would fill in any potential lost gameplay with new gameplay. What I meant by that was that if tanks don’t need to hit their buttons to generate threat, they may realize they don’t need to hit most of their buttons at all, and just stand there waiting until the right time to Shield Wall. Going a GCD or two without using a combat ability is fine with us. Standing around much longer than that gets boring quickly.
What we proposed is that tanks should ideally want to hit their buttons because it keeps them alive. I didn’t elaborate on that too much except to say it would feel more like the Blood DK method of tanking, which prompted some players to state that they didn’t like the DK model, or to point out that the DK model is not just active but reactive. Fair enough.
Here at Blizzard, we often talk about what we’re trying to build with the fiction of the Warcraft universe. The phrase “Hero Factory” frequently comes up across all of our franchises. We want the players to feel like heroes.
The primordial soup that creates heroes never tastes of rainbows -- it’s a lumpy gumbo of suffering and evil. Heroes are born from darkness, because we desperately need someone to light the way. ... Read more »
Mechanical Picker Automates harvesting of herbs from the garden.
Although, I have missed farming for herbs in MoP. It seems I spend most of the time when I am farming, just looking for the herbs rather than collecting them and the collecting has been something I have done to relax in WoW for a very long time.
You cannot apply the 90 boost to a level 90 (and presumably above) character. So don't worry about that happening.
You can apply the boost to an existing character on your account, or you can create a new level 1 character at the time you apply the boost.
If you boost an existing character who is at or above level 60, you get a Veteran's Bonus that boosts your professions to 600. You won't have to go back to level them, which is nice.
You pick a specialization during the process, which informs the starter gear you get."
We realised as soon as we came out with Warlords of Draenor boost to 90, we knew that there was going to be demand for more than 1. It's tremendously awkward to tell someone that you should buy two copies of the expansion just to get a second 90. That's odd. So we knew at that point we were going to have to offer it as a separate service.
Warlords of Draenor will be available for pre-purchase digitally Soon™, and we’re once again planning to have standard digital and Digital Deluxe versions (along with a physical Collector’s Edition—more on that at a later date). This time, if you pre-purchase the Digital Deluxe edition you’ll get your exclusive World of Warcraft pet and mount right away, allowing you to bring a little bit of Draenor past into Azeroth present.
In addition, when you pre-purchase either digital version, we’re going to grant you your l

Seems Blizzard may have accidentally leaked a price for the upcoming boosts:
As of this writing it appears that the paid character boost will be priced at $60. Since this was taken down quickly and with no comment by Blizzard, it seems fair to say the following:
This was clearly not intended to be visible yet.
No announcement has been made officially about the actual price.
The pre-orders for Warlords of Draenor are not even available yet, so it's unlikely that the paid option will be sooner than those.
