| Did this walk yesterday, 26 miles, 3 hills, beautiful sunshine - amazing day even if last few miles were absolute agony! Thought i'd share some pics anyway
There were 150 of my colleagues doing this, so they crammed us into 2 fields of this campsite, this is one of them!
Evening sunshine on the first hill we climbed yesterday morning, Pen y Ghent
We set off at 7:30am and reached the top of Pen y Ghent by 8:30 - this is a view from the top
10 mile trek from 1st hill to the 2nd (Whernside), but went via the Ribblehead Viaduct. Massive construction built in 1870s, carries a railway line - 100 people died in the construction - photo doesn't quite do it justice.
Waterfall on the way up Whernside
My team on the top of Whernside (highest point in Yorkshire)
Didn't get any great photos from top of the 3rd hill (Inglebrough), but this is probably the best - looking back towards the first, Pen y Ghent.
Once we got down from this one there were still 7 miles back to the campsite - was really tough going. But awesome day anyway, all done for charity - in total we raised over £40,000 for Macmillan!
And all topped off with a BBQ and free bar back at the campsite
Pretty shattered now though!
