| I've been listening to Monk meditation, a Monk podcast and they had a guest. A lady from AMR. She was explaining their plans for AMR now gem/enchant choices have been massively reduced. The basic idea is that warcraftlogs (who pretty much replaced Worldoflogs), concentrate on gathering data. AMR will study the data and present useful info for Teams. They intend to have information like:
How many pulls on average for a group to down X boss
Where are you in terms of Healing/DPS for your gear level, compared to other players
Watching our rotations and playstyles and suggesting alternate gearing strategies based on what we like to do.
The plans sound very ambitious and very helpful. We should keep an eye on AMR! The podcast was Monk meditation, episode 32 and the specific part with the AMR representative was about half way through the podcast.
