Asked by Chie to make BigWigs screenshots from fights, but lately deleted them (do not ask how if you don't wanna laugh). So, I'll try to explain another (dummy) way.

Version I'm using is modified from default one by Method guildie, for HC specific fights only, but most of their settings are behind LUA (example, for HC Galakros BW will tell you where to run after flame of Galakros, you'll use WA2 + DBM, I'll use only BigWigs)*.
*This one need to be tested. :P

Interface is pretty similar to DBM one and customizable, difference - BW has more boss spell/skill, which some require a little bit setup, but that's only 2-3 clicks before boss fight, depending what skill/spell you need to keep eye on it.

Emphasized messages are by default turned off, you can turn it manually, depending of which boss spell you need to be aware of. Also, for some skills, mostly "don't stand in fire" you can turn your screen flashing to warn you to move your lazy a**.

For example, on Immerseus fight:

AvinEa is too lazy to move from sha pools, so "she" will turn "pulse" option on:

When Sha pool appears under feet, screen will flash to warn you to move from it (will display spell icon if that option is turned on):

Back to emphasized messages. It will make most important boss spell/skills to enlarge and give bigger warnings or notifications. Another lazy excuse for me to not use WA2 on hunter, example, if I do this:

I will not need WA2 big icon to notify when I can soak crack, instead I'll get this:

It also has sound notification, you can use DBM sounds instead default ones or whatever you want.
AltPower or Alternate Power bar should display like corruption level on Sha of Pride, but I think it need to be enabled manually, didn't see bar on Sha of Pride.
There is option to track your personal skill cooldowns, but didn't played too much with it, already another addons doing that job.
If your raid leader force you to use DBM instead of BW, you can fake /dbm ver, so it will show like you using DBM, not BW.

It was 1st week I'm using this modified BW on hunter, lame introduction to BW, I'll update thread if I find more interesting stuffs.
Oh, it can mark mind controlled people on Garrosh, just found now. :P

Have a question, feel free to ask.

Really great post Avinia! You've definitely peaked my interest in this add-on. I'll have to give it some thought this week but I am considering making the switch. I actually really love DBM but I also love add-ons and trying new ones

Checked Galakras fight. There's code in .lua which tells you on Flames of Galakras where to run and after how many stacks (2) of Pulsing flames.

BigWigs in action:

"No Weakened resolve" text will flash all the time until you close next one.

I will be making the switch to BW on Saturday. I do really like DBM and have used it for many years but... In Avinia's screenshot above, in the chat all you can see are RSA prints from players using their abilities. In my chat all I see is spam from DBM telling me the same things DBM has told me on several parts of my screen already.

I'll test it in our Raid on Sunday. If there are any major problems with me as RL using BW over DBM (Most of our raiders use DBM), I'll immediately switch back to DBM. I am mainly interested in trying BW because Avinia has peaked my interest and it's fun to play with new toys

I was using DBM out of box, just few single bosses spells tweaking, but have you ever checked other or general options, Chie? It also has "skip cinematic" option. biggrin

Should work like BW, it will let you to watch cinematic for the 1st time, but will auto skip next time.

In my raiding career (lol), I've been going backward and forward between DBM and BW. Currently I'm using DBM (for no good reason, just had one of them installed).

I started with DBM, gave a try to BW (because the people developing it were top-notch raiders) and changed to it. At some point I switched back to DBM because BW was having some issues with timers, but I've seen that you guys currently use BW.

Do you recommend me to change? (I have no special love for any of them... just go with whichever is more accurate with timers).

Several of us have switched recently because not every ability in Highmaul was showing up properly in DBM. Also some of the timing were of in DBM.

Not sure if that's fixed now, but it wasn't working properly so we switched. Now that i've seen BW i really don't want to switch back anymore.

If DBM is working properly it doesn't really matter which one you use, if it's still not showing everything I guess i'd recommend you to change.

Big wigs is way more customizable than DBM. Emphasized bars is one of the best things I've come across whilst Raiding! My vote would be for BW but DBM is a very good add-on as well.
