Hello everyone, I wanted to write a short post, first to welcome all our new members from the last couple of weeks. Please all join me in extending a very warm welcome to one and all!

The second thing I wanted to touch on is where we are at in regards to Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor. Usually around this time in the expansion cycle, things start to really wind down.
Players take breaks and play other games and everyone eagerly awaits the launch of the next expansion. We are in a very good position compared to many Guilds on Lightbringer. If you look on wowprogress, many of the Guilds and teams have been taking breaks. We have consistently raided 3 times a week through-out! Ace work us
wink

I'm currently playing Rome total war 2 with Hens, as a nice way for us to wind down and relax. I'm sure many of our members are also doing the same, with their game of choice. There is a higher than usual amount of raid logging currently in Tranquility. It's not bad and I hope newer members can appreciate that we have done pretty much everything this expansion has to offer. For myself, when I'm not online in wow, I can easily be reached through email (chiie880@gmail.com), battletag /w on the launcher, through the private messages on our Guild site and of course through the forums. If members have things they would like to do, please let me know and I'll gladly come online. If people are online less atm, don't think we aren't willing to come and help out. I for one, am more than willing.

We are still making tremendous progress in Heroic and will continue to do so. New members should feel free to sign up to these raids as well as our Normal Sunday clear. I've played with you all and I know you will be fine in Heroic content, don't be shy, come and grab some kills before Heroic is removed! However, We have more than 10 players who want to raid. For our Heroic runs, we may have to have a little bit of rotation. We'll be as fair as we can if this is the case and ask for members understanding. It's a very cool position to be in as a Guild to have more members than we can take on one team. We will be starting a second team as soon as we are able and in patch 6.0, most raid difficulties will be flexible in size. As far as we know, the patch is in a few weeks.

I'm very happy with our recent additions to the Guild and our continuing progress! I'm really looking forward to our second team being up and running and can't wait to get started in the next expansion.

Cheiee

Yes, we need help with Challenge modes. :P
Also, for SoO, I can give my spot anytime (except Garrosh, I still need that bow).

As of right now I don't need any normal gear for Sericce and am more than willing to step aside on Sundays for anyone who needs gear/wants experience, but I still enjoy those runs if there's free space and would like those Garrosh kills for the possibility of looms :-)
I'd still like to be considered for the HC content though, I'm just loving the challenges and ofc the great gear, if my bonus rolls ever give me anything other than gold that is ;-)

So what I need you to do is do lots and lots of flex and normal runs for my 13 alts to gear up lol ;-) Nahh that's what Openraid is for
Unfortunately the only other game I'm currently wanting to play, Dragonage Inquisition, has a bad release overlap with the start of WOD :-/

Just a question though - if we have more than enough for a ten man run - maybe a 25 man run could be possible on Sundays?

Don't worry, everyone will still get to go to Heroic. Strayhan will come this Wednesday with our usual team and Tuti will join on Friday. Talslack hasn't signed up to any raids for the last week or two, so we actually have a spot

wink

I'm not sure about the 25 man, I don't think we have quite that many sign ups. Sometimes we do. My UI is set-up for 10 players currently but I could change it. I'll give it some thought. I have mixed feelings about 25 players. We used to run 25 flex and it seemed to increase the chance of getting a couple of bad apples in the group who made the runs not as fun but other times, it was really great and we had tons of fun.

If it was listed as 25 man you would get more sign ups on openraid - people tend to stop signing up once there are a lot of people shown as available

I appreciate that it's much harder to ensure everyone follows tactics on 25 man, but also it's not as important if someone gets themselves killed through doing something silly - It would also give the opportunity to those who don't have normal experience, yet still retain the core people, who you know would perform and perhaps take up the slack when people aren't as geared or experienced, whilst still giving experienced people the chance for loom drops

It's also a lot of fun on 25 man (with the right people ofc)

Ok I shut up now :-)

I prefer 10 players over 25 and I'm a little meh about Mythic being 20 player. I'm interested to see what others preference is between 10/25, so I'll make a poll and we can find out

happy
