I'd like to here your thoughts on Garrisons and what you will build. Here is what I am thinking.

Level 1

Large - Barracks - Seems an obvious choice
Small - Alchemy Lab - This is one of my professions and from what I have read that is the way to go.

Level 2

Medium - Inn - Get extra quests and follower with specific quality.
Small - Storehouse or Second profession hut? - Not decided yet! Although my other profession is herbalism so probably go with storehouse

Level 3

Large - Dwarven Bunker - Increasing your gear rewards from quests and raids and granting you a weekly raid bonus roll..... Sounds good to me!
Medium - Lumber Mill or Trading post?
Salvage Yard - The Yard is useful for a fresh 100 because you will frequently get items that raise your level 100 followers' weapons and armor levels..... Also sounds good to me!

Anyway this the plan which may change but would be good to see what everyone else has planned for Garrisons smile

The idea of my build is to get it so i have a chance to get High raid loot from follower missions, i try to min-max stuff where i can i find that style fun to play from my research this will help me to my goals of my Garrison,i am still looking into possibility of using a mill to get more garrisons mats then moving on to the inn once i have upgraded my buildings.

Large
-Barracks
-Dwarven Bunker

Medium
-Inn / Mill
-barn

Small
-profession (lw)
-Salvage
-profession (engi)

(the info u wonted bob  wink )

I'm starting to wish I'd spent a little time thinking about this already  tongue

I boosted my Monk from 1-90, so don't as yet have any professions. I'm thinking Herbalism and Mining is the easiest and quickest to level and also will help with the professions I do have on other characters (Tailoring/Jewelcrafting on my Priest, Leatherworking/Skinning on my Warrior, Herbalism/Alchemy on my Druid). So I don't think there are any particularly useful buildings for those two professions - Mining and Herbalism.

Level 1

Large - Dwarven bunker - Transmog!
Small - Storehouse or Salvage yard. Not sure which one yet.

I'm really not sure if they are good choices or not.

id suggest cheiee if your willing, go lw as one of your profession the craft gear will be nice for first raids, best way to do this is to have the profession and the building on a small plot more work orders and more daily cooldown mats, i am also doing this with my hunter dropping tailoring for lw for the gear. Herbalism is also going to be big in wod as jc and alchemy use it along with other stuff.

ok, sounds good Leatherworker will be one of my proffs. Anyone willing to sell me a LW boost kit? I'll ask in Guild first before I make inquiries on the official wow forums. I've seen quite a few offering other profession kits for sale.

I'm guessing I should also take skinning as my second or isn't that needed with the tannery? I think the Tannery just allows you to upgrade leather you already have.

it might be wroth using the catch up for lw and not buying a boost kit will be cheaper and the expansion at the start is going to be a gold sink as it is but depends on how much gold you got as for skining not sure i have it on a alt

What is the catch up for LW? Like how you can mine from Panda nodes and pick Panda herbs? As far as gold goes, I have about 18k between all my chars. I'm pretty bad at making money  wacko

u kill mobs in wod and they drop a items that can be handed in to your garrisons for skill points towards that profession in wod skill level only means how many daily cooldown items you are going to get
